Infrared Band Far Infrared Wrist Brace - Wrist pain is commonly caused by repetitive strain injury although problems such as carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis and bursitis can also cause pain and affect mobility. Far infrared therapy band will address the problem rather than just the symptoms. Our infrared band is impregnated with a lead free ceramic that emits safe far infrared rays. These infrared rays can penetrate into the wrist and surrounding area. Infrared wrist band increases the blood flow which has beneficial effects on stiff and damaged joints. Far infrared light has a warming effect which causes the capilliaries to dilate. Thus wrist brace increases the blood flow to the affected area. This increased flow helps to flush away toxins, reduce swelling and therefore this infrared band relieves pressure in the wrist.

The wrist joins the ulna and radius to the carpal bones. Tendons interact with the carpal bones to allow the wide ranging and complex movement. This flexibility and movement is restricted by conditions such as arthritis. The median nerve passes through the wrist via a passage called the carpal tunnel. Ligaments that surround the nerve are not flexible and swelling can restrict blood flow and cause pressure on the median nerve leading to pain and reduced function of the hand.
