Pre-Set Therapy Protocols
Protocol 1:
Sequential Stimulation Low
First Half (1 to 15 minutes): IF sweep therapy from 1 Hz to 10 Hz over 6 seconds then reverse and sweep from 10 Hz to 1 Hz over 6 seconds. Repeat for 15 minutes.
Second Half (15 to 45 minutes): Neuromuscular stimulation therapy with the frequency fixed at 70 Hz. Start in relaxes state (zero amplitude) and dwell for 2 seconds. Quick ramp to contraction state (amplitude set by patient) and dwell for 5 seconds, then quick ramp to relax state (zero amplitude). Repeat for 30 minutes.
Protocol 2:
Sequential Stimulation High
First Half (1 to 15 minutes): IF sweep therapy from 80 Hz to 150 Hz over 6 seconds then reverse and sweep from 150 Hz to 80 Hz over 6 seconds.
Protocol 3:
Interferential (IF) Wide
IF sweep therapy from 1 Hz to 150 Hz over 6 seconds then reverse and sweep from 150 Hz to 1 Hz over 6 seconds. Repeat for 30 minutes.
Protocol 4:
Neuromuscular Stimulation (NMS)
Neuromuscular stimulation therapy with the frequency fixed at 35 Hz. Start in relaxes state (zero amplitude) and dwell for 10 seconds. Quick ramp to contraction state (amplitude set by patient) and dwell for 5 seconds, then quick ramp to relax state (zero amplitude). Repeat for 30 minutes.
Protocol 5:
Constant Stimulation Interferential (IF) Therapy
Variable adjustable frequency. When this Pre-Set Therapy is selected, a screen will appear where the therapy frequency can be selected by adjusting the displayed frequency up or down using the + or -buttons. Its a constant stimulation for 30 minutes.

Additional Features
- Auto Shut-Off
- To control the maximum treatment given to a patient, an automatic shut-off feature is incorporated into the LECTRA+2. There are 15, 30, and 45 minute time limits (depending on the selected Pre-set protocol) that any particular therapy session will last. After the session timer reaches zero, the output amplitude of both channels is reduced to zero and the unit remains in an idle state. After 5 minutes in an idle state, the unit automatically shuts off to conserve battery power and prevent inadvertent operation.
- Pause / Resume
- The LECTRA+2 has a Pause and Resume feature that allows the user to suspend or "pause" treatment to allow for the readjustment of electrodes or any external interruption such as a phone call. If the user wishes to stop the treatment, simply press the Red button once. The screen will display "Paused". When the user is ready to resume therapy, press the Green button once and the previous therapy will resume where it left off with the exception that the amplitude (intensity) has been reset to zero for safety reasons. Increase the amplitude to desired setting.
- Quick Start
- If the LECTRA+2 stimulator are placed into Therapy Protocol Lockout mode, the Quick Start feature will be activated. The Quick start feature is the fastest and easiest way to start a therapy by allowing only one desired protocol to be displayed whenever the unit is turned on. Ask your healthcare professional or distributor to place the stimulator into Therapy Protocol Lockout mode if you wish to access only one particular protocol.
